Originally built in the 1930s, this Wichita kitchen was ready for a complete transformation. The homeowners trusted our local remodeling team to bring the space up to date while creating a kitchen that better suited their style and everyday needs.
The project required a full renovation, with the existing kitchen gutted down to the studs before the rebuilding process began. This allowed our team to rework the space from the ground up and make thoughtful improvements to the layout, finishes, storage, and overall functionality.
The before and after photos below offer a look at the transformation and the care that went into giving this historic kitchen a fresh, modern feel.

Improved Storage and Cabinetry
Another major part of this Wichita remodeling project focused on renovating the home’s storage, cabinetry, and windows while creating a more modern and cohesive look.
The first set of comparison photos highlights the updated bar area. New shelving, cabinetry, and built in storage give the space a cleaner appearance while also making it more functional for everyday use and entertaining.
The middle comparison showcases the addition of an updated window nook and kitchen island. These improvements help brighten the space, add visual interest, and create a more inviting area for gathering.
The final before and after photos feature the refreshed cabinetry. The updated finishes and design details give the room a more current look while helping the new elements blend seamlessly with the rest of the remodel.
Updated Wet Bar
The remodel also included an updated wet bar with new cabinetry, shelving, countertop space, and a small sink.
